About me

My mother taught me to sew years ago, but it never really became a great hobby of mine. I am a college student, and unfortunately, the pandemic hit right as I was beginning to think about my future, and put all of my plans to the side.

This is when I decided to pick up sewing again, finding it a meditative and therapeutic way to pass the seemingly endless quarantine time. I decided that this time around, I wanted to learn the techniques and skills I needed to become a confident seamstress.

That being said, I am always relying on the knowledge of my problem-solving mother, and, of course, the internet.

I also appreciate historical styles and techniques, and am interested in sustainability and slow-fashion. I hope to learn more about these as I venture forward.
